Treating penetrating damp across Flintshire

Penetrating damp is one of the most common forms of dampness in buildings. It is normally caused by water moving through walls from the outside of the building due to leaking gutters, faulty plumbing or badly fitted windows and door frames. If left untreated, penetrating damp can cause damage to the fabric of the building, internal plasterwork and interior decorations. It can also lead to increased heat loss and frost damage to the masonry.

Having tanking membranes will provide a dry internal wall surface, making your cellar or basement damp free. We can also fit waterproof renders and provide specialist surface coatings to prevent dampness. We can even apply a clear silicone water repellent on the walls to help reduce penetration from rainwater.
